What the hell is up with her?

Ok, basically a few min ago my mother said to me she wanted to abandon me and that she wouldn't care if i were dead or left to rot with my drunkard father. This doesn't bother me, i'm really emotionally crippled and **** like that bounces off me, but here's the thing. now SHE is all upset! i don't get it at all :/ why would an insult she said bother her?
