How does online gambling withdrawals work?

I am playing online poker with real money for the first time but I am unsure how withdrawals work. I haven't made a deposit yet, but I plan on making a direct deposit using my credit card. But my question is, after a certain amount of time, if I want to make a withdrawal, does cake poker (the online gambling site that I plan to make a deposit) automatically transfer the money back to my bank from my online account? Or do they do something else. I tried reading the website but Im still confused and unsure. and I live in the US
