Is it the antidepressants or me that is making me emotional?

I started taking antidepressants about a month ago and since then I've been so tired and really emotional. I cry every day and I don't understand why, and if someone says something and I take it the wrong way, I get really down. I have trouble getting up and everything hurts, especially my chest for some reason. I get these horrible pains in the heart area whenever I cry and it makes me tense up and feel crippled. Is it the effects of the medication?
