Why haven't I received my paycheck, and when will I receive it?

I've worked at a restaurant for about 3 weeks now, and I believe I was scheduled to receive my first paycheck 2 days ago (Friday). When I check the balance of my bank account online though (my paycheck is supposed to get directly deposited into my account), it shows no change. Is the bank holding my money for a certain amount of days before depositing it, or could it be delayed due to the Canada Post strike if my paycheck is being mailed to the bank? When do you think I will have my money deposited into my account?
