Can we get out of a contract for a new car?

IS there any way we can cancel our contract after signing the contract and making a deposit for a new car at the dealership? We have never received the car yet, and still waiting for it to arrived. We never drove the car out of the dealer yet, so can we go back to renegotiate our contract or cancel it all together>?
